Hi, I’m Ashley!

I’m a Chicago based designer and art director with over 10 years of experience. After wearing many hats in the nonprofit sector, I found myself drawn to the problem-solving and creativity at the heart of design. Art and design have always been a driving force in my life, whether it was being voted "Most Artistic" in high school, studying art history at DePaul University, or building my career as a designer.

My deep understanding of art and design history, combined with the proactive mindset I developed through my nonprofit experience and the drive of being largely self-taught, provides me with a unique perspective and a strategic approach to every professional challenge I encounter. I have particular experience and passion for branding, typography, illustration, art direction, photoshoots, and digital design. I was previously Senior Graphic Designer at AIDS Foundation Chicago, Designer at Grubhub and am currently Lead Designer at OpenGov, in addition to freelancing with a variety of clients on the side.

When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me doing pilates, reading a good book, baking something delicious, or exploring all the awesome food, coffee, and craft beer spots around Chicago.
